There are only a handful of Snowshoe breeders in the United States, and I am among those committed to advancing this smart, personable, and most remarkable breed. My Mom is 92 years old. She has Alzheimer's/ Dementia and is wheelchair-bound. She lost my Dad just a year ago. I live with and take care of her, as do my three housepets, Frankie (solid Snowshoe), Ferdie (Siamese), and Moondancer (Oriental Shorthair). I know in my heart that if it were not for the cats, she would be lost to us mentally by now. She loves the cats and looks forward to giving them a warm lap daily!! |
